SOS day 2

so I am still having problems with the wireless network here.  We have our best people working on the problem, however our "best people" are all under the age of 14.  So this will be another short post.

Today was our first work day.  The day was amazing and the students worked harder than you'll ever believe.  We tore off shingles, took apart a chimney, put in forms for concrete, and picked up nails, lots and lots of nails.  It was a great day.  We are looking forward to another good work day tomorrow, the team is already tired, but we managed to get a little Sonic run in tonight to boast our energy.  It is possible that the servers at Sonic will know all 58 names by the time we leave.  I'm sorry I haven't been able to put up pictures yet, we will as soon as I get internet on my computer and I don't have to borrow a staff member's.

Gotta go, it's time for me to put an end to this pillow fight...

Kurt - did you know Wayland used to be a computer technician for the school district in TX? You'd think with that job title, he'd be able to help you with your computer problems. (Don't let him near it, though...you'll have far better luck with the fourteen year olds). Sounds like everyone is pretty worn out. I pray that everyone's strength would be renewed and that tonight would bring concentrated rest to you all. Can't wait to hear more tomorrow! Tell my guys I miss them so much, and if you have any pics of Nate in makeup...I want them!!!

Kurt-Please tell Andrew that we're so proud of him and to be careful!!Thanks so much for keeping us posted, we look forward to your entries each day. It's a way to feel connect to all of you while you're away. Good luck with the computer issue. I'm sure those 14 year olds can figure it out!! They are probably more capable than most 40 yr olds.

Kurt - have you turned off your firewall on your laptop and have you turned off your windows firewall - you need admin rights but I assume you already have them.
In addition, the ssid for SOS may have a WEP key or WK key which I assume they already gave you. I hook up our police and fire on wireless everyday - complicated stuff but I love it. Be happy to help as we need pictures of our kids. Sorry to bother you - say hi to Ian for me
